  • Academic Requirements: Must hold an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes starting in 2025/26. Eligible courses include Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, and MSc qualifications.
  • Residency and Nationality: Must be ordinarily resident in one of the low-income economy countries listed by UAL, or be an asylum seeker in the UK at the time of application.
  • Income: Annual household income must be £50,000 or less (or equivalent in local currency).
  • Must not already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or equivalent).
  • Must provide a personal statement addressing the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
    • Describe how receiving a Postgraduate Scholarship would make a difference to you.

  • Receive an Offer:
    • Apply and receive an offer to study a full-time master’s course at UAL starting in 2025/26. Make sure the course you choose offers one of the following qualifications: Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, or MSc.
  • Access the Scholarship Application:
    • Once you have an offer, log in to your applicant portal and go to the ‘my funding’ page. Here you will find the application forms for scholarships you are eligible for.
  • Prepare Your Documents:
    • Gather all required documents including immigration documents, proof of residence, ID card, formal proof of address, offer letter, and evidence of income.
  • Submit Your Application:
    • Complete the application form carefully, making sure to address all the criteria and questions thoroughly. Attach the required documents and submit your application by the deadline, of July 5, 2025.
  • Await Notification:
    • After submitting your application, wait for UAL to notify you about the status of your application. Successful applicants will be informed by email.
